The Committee for Members in Industry (CMII) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is organizing "ICAI-CMII Corporate Forum" comprising of following events.

• ICAI CMII Corporate Conclave on January 15 & 16, 2016 at Hotel Imperial, New Delhi.
• ICAI Awards 2015 on January 16, 2016 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.

ICAI CMII Corporate Conclave on the theme “Transformation towards Excellence” is a National convention conceived to initiate and facilitate deliberations by eminent experts on subjects contemporary and relevant to the profession. Corporate Conclave is an opportunity to update knowledge, recent developments in industry and profession. Some of the topics of the Corporate Conclave are:

• Converging to IFRS - Moving the Western way
• Decoding GST
• Disruption-A Mandatory Paradigm Shift, Fraud-Why should it keeps CFOs awake
• Issues in International Taxation with special emphasis on point of effective management
• Credit Rating –Challenges during distressed market

ICAI Awards 2015 scheduled for January 16 ,2016 would honour the exemplary work of the Chartered Accountants in Industry including in Public Services and other fields of profession by recognizing those who have demonstrated excellence in their professional lives & outstanding contribution, so that they would be identified as role models for the fraternity. ICAI Awards also seek to acknowledge Chartered Accountants who have created value for their company’s stakeholders on sustainable basis. Shri Suresh Prabhu, Hon'ble Railway Minister shall be the Chief Guest at the Awards ceremony.

Many dignitaries and business leaders will bestow the most revered and prestigious ICAI Awards. The awardees have been chosen from amongst the nominations received by CMII of ICAI under three major categories namely CA Business Leader, CA CFO and CA Professional Achiever. The event will display ever increasing contributions of Chartered Accountants to the industry and to the nation.
